The position
We are looking for an experienced professional to drive the validation and qualification of new transport solutions within our global supply chain network, emphasizing a commitment to quality excellence. The chosen candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our transport solutions meet the standards, maintaining the integrity and quality of temperature-sensitive products throughout the logistics process.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive and execute validation and qualification of new transport solutions within the global supply chain network, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
- Author and review of transport validation protocols, risk assessments, risk reports, and validation plans, ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead the development of robust and efficient processes for transport solutions to uphold product quality standards and regulatory compliance, emphasizing the importance of a quality-driven approach.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to transport validation and translate this into the development of new transport solutions.
To be successful in the role we expect you:
- Hold a master´s degree preferably within engineering, supply chain management, or can demonstrate relevant experience and have insights into cold chain validation requirements.
- Have demonstrated experience in authoring, executing, and reporting validation/qualification documents in a GDP or GMP environment
- Have experience within validation or validation projects in a GDP or Gx P environment
- Strong quality mindset and have demonstrated use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address, correct and prevent issues to make the right decisions
On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organisational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organisation around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English. We expect you to have a great interest in Supply Chain and validation processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes.
You are a skilled communicator and capable of making effective recommendations, as well as effectively present your findings. You have the confidence and ability to set directions within validation and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation.
About the department
Logistics & Distribution (L&D) is a central Supply Chain & Business Development organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance. We are app. 60 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 10 in Bangalore (India)
The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the financial impact. Furthermore, we have the responsibility for storage of Gx P products, covering both in- and outbound distribution. While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
