The position
As our new Supply Chain Student Assistant, you will assist our Supply Chain Planner in overseeing and controlling the process of raw materials and intermediates from suppliers into Novo Nordisk warehouses. The job includes the following tasks:
- Monitoring and ensuring forecasting for incoming raw materials – includes keeping an overview of demand vs. inventory
- Forecasting and keeping an overview of our capacity and utilization of ambient/cold/frost warehouses
- Following up and continuing communication with internal stakeholders in Novo Nordisk at the warehouses, our production areas, and functions like Sourcing Operations
- Performing analysis on critical raw materials, including assessment of needed inventory levels
- Supporting in optimizing processes in the supply chain
We expect you to work 15 hours a week on average but with flexibility during exam periods.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, Economics, or other related fields. By now you have studied a minimum of 12 months, and you have at least 12 months left of your studies.
To succeed in this role, you are:
- Eager to learn and able to manage your time effectively
- Able to work cross-functionally, both independently and in a team
- Confident in making decisions and overseeing complex issues
- Proficient in Excel with experience within SAP or STYX is a plus but not mandatory
- Fluent in both written and verbal English and able to speak, read and understand Danish
This position involves forecasting raw material and warehouse demands, analysis of supply chain bottlenecks, and communication with key internal stakeholders. By this means, you should be comfortable in decision-making, and be confident in communication with stakeholders in different parts of the organization.

You will be part of the department API Pilots Planning and Optimisation in the team; Data & Supply Chain. We are a high-performing team driven by exploring, process optimisation, and solving complex business challenges. Our team consists of 15 professionals working with supply chain, production planning, data, and project management. Our home base is in Bagsværd, Copenhagen area.
