We are seeking a highly skilled and detailed-oriented Senior Regulatory Specialist to join our department where you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will be part of a regulatory and risk team responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and implementing regulations in technology and cyber security.
Since the recent appointment as a SIFI bank, we have been strengthening our compliance program by hiring highly qualified professionals to lead the compliance effort. As our new Senior Regulatory Specialist, which is a first-line role, you will be in close contact with the business, while using your regulatory and risk experience to support the business in reaching its regulatory compliance goals across the global organization.

Perform compliance gap analyses across relevant legislation, identify and implement controls and mitigation strategies.

Stay updated on regulatory developments in technology and cyber security, regarding Danish and EU regulations. Assess their impact on Saxo and recommend appropriate actions.

Collaborate with colleagues across different areas, at times coordinating their effort to achieve compliance with relevant legislation.

Contribute to our compliance culture by providing support and education to employees on regulatory matters, policy and procedures.

Support international offices in their effort to maintain regulatory compliance across difference jurisdiction, by being responsible for knowledge of compliance of Saxo.
As a person you are positive, open-minded, and you have great people skills and can understand and explain complex situations. You can build valuable business networks, which require good communication and stakeholder management skills – connecting people with different functional and cultural backgrounds.
You take pride in delivering high quality work, sometimes acting as a trouble-shooter, and always strive to create win-win solutions. You are flexible and curious to learn new concepts and adapt to new ways of working. In Saxo it is important to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and quickly switch focus between different responsibilities as needed. Further, you can communicate complex regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders with no regulatory background.

Bring at least 5 years of relevant regulatory experience (in technology or cyber security) obtained within a first, second or third line, preferably in the financial sector;

Have an academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Audit or similar;

Understand current industry and risk management trends, threats and opportunities;

Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations;

Have documented track record of leading and delivering independently projects from start to finish;

Can critically assess compliance processes and identify improvements in the delivery of regulatory products;

Have international or cross-cultural experience and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences

Are proficient in English, both verbal and written.

Have knowledge of Danish (advantage).
