Applications are invited for a 1-year research assistant position in the field of Intelligent Control for Aerial Robots at the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark.

This is a 1-year position from 01/01/2025 or as soon possible.
Job description
Research in this project involves a synergistic combination of intelligent control and aerial robotics for the navigation in uncertain environment.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- implementation of machine-learning algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles;
- validation of the developed methods via experimental tests;
- optimisation of the communication interface for aerial robots.
Your profile
Applicants should hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or similar.
Required skills:
- Good programming skills in C++ or Python
- Working knowledge of ROS
- Excellent communication and language skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience with UAV control
- Concrete experience in machine learning
- Practical and hands-on skills
- Publication experience
- Teaching experience
