As Night Crew Member, you are responsible for running the night audit and making sure that everything is in order for the morning crew. You have multiple roles - from Front Desk Attendant to Greeter and Bartender - and you also perform a number of different tasks. You start your shift by welcoming the remaining guests, answering emails and guest inquiries and running all the necessary reports to make sure everything is set for the night audit. Furthermore, you help people in the bar, after which you clean and prepare the bar and lobby for the next day. During the night audit you conduct a security check at the hotel, during which you check if everything is in place and order. In the early morning, you prepare the incoming reservations for the day. You print out all the necessary lists for housekeeping and breakfast, preparing and sending the end of the day report to the Assistant Hotel Manager. After this, you prepare the breakfast buffet together with your colleague from the morning shift and assist guests with checkouts. At the end of your shift, you hand over the work to the morning crew, informing them of any outstanding questions or remaining problems. During the shift, you usually work with one other Night Auditor or your supervisor the Night Shift Leader. In the morning, you hand over the shift to the next crew.
