Employee Relations Manager, 15 months temporary role

Core Responsibilities From our Headquarters in Billund, you will be part of a highly professional and passionate team who collaborate closely with partners across the LEGO Group. You will primarily cover Denmark with supporting people leaders and People Partners in all matters related to employment law, collective agreements, and internal HR policies. The primary focus will be on the hourly paid employees population. More specifically, you will:
Provide guidance and support across business units in terms of individual as well as collective employment law and legislation (including collective agreements like “Industriens Overenskomst (IO)” and “Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst (IFO)” in Denmark).
Consult people partners, people leaders and union representatives when adjusting and implementing new policies and when individual cases need to be investigated, evaluated, prepared, and solved
Be on top of upcoming new legislation and drive the implementation hereof
Support global leaders with a big variety of ER challenges, and provide day-to-day sparring
Handle cases that comes in through our Compliance Line
Support our Diversity and Inclusion Journey by giving input to various projects, and help secure that tasks such as cases, reorganizations and projects are being handled with a D&I lense
Maintain and update standard contracts and prepare and maintain internal policies – e.g., make sure the HR policies in Denmark are in accordance with new legislation
Prepare and update our Business Service Operations (BSO) with the newest HR policies, legislation and collective agreements, and occasionally support them with your knowledge and insights in terms of employment law and individual employee related questions

Do you have what it takes? The successful candidate comes with a background in law or similar and several years of experience working with Danish Employment law and collective agreements in a Danish context.
A solid communicator working flawlessly in English
Ability to transition complex questions and matters to simple solutions where the people leaders and People Partners are understanding and committing to your solutions
Curious, like to learn and develop and do so on own initiative
Solid negotiation skills and at the same time strong at “building bridges”
Ability to push-back and stand strong on your legal arguments
