Job Description:
The Quality Control Inspector performs all visual and dimensional inspections of finished goods and incoming raw materials to verify conformance to specifications.

Job Requirements:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews all documentation to ensure case information is accurate
- Reads and understands drawings
- Responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of the aligners utilizing measuring instruments
- Responsible for maintaining inspection logs and auditing production documents; ensuring all sequences have been followed
- Interprets production work orders, drawings and completes all inspection documentation correctly.
- Responsible for the first article inspection of new products and/or new vendors
- Decides on product acceptability and consults with lead and/or supervisor in unusual situations
- Possess general knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and International Standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent formal education
- 6+ months experience with Quality Control
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience using a micrometer or caliper
- Understanding and comprehending written instructions
- Experience reading blue prints is a plus
