We are currently looking for the skilled Product Owner who wants to have an impact with his/her work, to join our ZF Aftermarket digital products team in our existing office in Plzen. The team is working to deliver our ZF Bus Connect product (https://www.zf.com/products/de/cv/campaigns/bus_connect/bus_connect.html) and is focused on extending the value of this connected vehicle solution through a deeply collaborative effort between product, UX, data and engineering members. The team is leveraging the company’s existing knowledge and access to data of multiple thousands of buses to increase efficiency and convenience in managing the uptime of such vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to have an early and significant impact on shaping both, the new engineering organization and product while having the security of being part of one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.
The Io T Product Owner keeps close contact with our customer groups and is a master in creation and updating of the product strategy and roadmap covering both, our in-vehicle communication hardware device as well as applications making use of the derived data. As a lateral leader, he/she motivates the cross-functional product development team, defines, and explains requirements, manages priorities in the backlog and cares for acceptance and documentation of released features as part of our Scrum process. The role will engage with the key stakeholders, including business line leaders, sales and marketing, product manager, UX/UI as well as engineering to create the most advanced and optimal solution for ZF’s customers.
What you can look forward to as Product Owner?:

• Liaise with Stakeholders to define a clear strategy of the team’s product roadmap, provide customer and business analysis and context to the engineering teams. Act as the voice of the customers within the team.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the domain and the product, manage, and prioritize the backlog and communicate the right priorities and content at any time.
• Break down complexity and work with the team to define a smart and iterative approach to complex problems. Own and handle any existing product dependencies together with other Product Owners.
• Own the quality and the scope of the team. Plan related activities together with the engineering management partners. Validate the outcome of the development iterations. Contribute to and lead documentation efforts for the team.

Your profile as Product owner?:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role for a digital solution.
• Relevant professional experience in principles of agile software/product development, analytical way of working, solution orientation, creativity and the desire to create/innovate.
• Domain knowledge in any mobility related domain a plus (such as fleet management, logistics, electric mobility, public transportation, predictive maintenance, navigation).
• Good communication skills, ability to create convincing concepts, to motivate teams and to organize buy-in by stakeholders, customers and partners.
• Fluency in English.
