Pricing Manager Czech Republic & Hungary

Job Purpose

The Pricing Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining price reporting systems and processes, ensuring compliance with necessary tools and regulations. This role provides transparency on price information at a country (group) level and monitors key success parameters of price implementation. Additionally, the Pricing Manager develops pricing and tender strategies to support company priorities.

Key Tasks:

• You will develop pricing assumptions and economic measures to inform strategic plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders, including the MACS CEE Capability Head, to define pricing and reimbursement requirements for new and existing products.
• You will implement the Global Pricing Policy while ensuring compliance with local regulations and accurately reflecting the local market environment.
• You will enhance pricing procedures to improve efficiency and ensure timely responses to market conditions, including regular price checks.
• You will prepare and coordinate pricing business cases, delivering timely and accurate pricing analysis to support the evaluation of business opportunities.
• You will coordinate with tender specialists to ensure timely submission of tenders with approved pricing, addressing potential queries from hospital management.
• You will maintain internal pricing databases, ensuring timely uploads of requested data and monitoring competitor pricing and reimbursement trends.
• You will prepare supporting materials and tools for negotiations, including price calculations, price-volume trade-offs, and payer pricing analysis.
• You will monitor new legislation related to pricing, react appropriately to changes and ensuring compliance in pricing strategies.
• You will actively represent Market Access in internal and external pricing working groups, contributing to discussions and strategy development.

Required Qualifications:

• You have more than 2 years of experience in Market Access, Pricing, Finance, Business Planning, or similar fields.
• You have an understanding and knowledge of Czech pricing and regulation, which is mandatory.
• You have experience in customer interaction, relationship building, and an understanding of the cross-functional nature of pricing, reimbursement, and business implications.
• You are proficient in spoken and written English.
• You are proficient in spoken and written Czech.
• You have curiosity towards evolving market and pricing trends within and beyond the responsible market.
• You have strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and pricing software.
• You can work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills, able to negotiate and explain complex data in simpler terms.
• You are capable of working under pressure while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• You have strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
