Job Description
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the hotel's hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect guest information, payment systems, and other sensitive data from breaches or cyber-attacks.
- Manage and support systems that directly impact guest experience, such as PMS, point-of-sale (POS) systems, in-room entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Evaluates, selects and implements software applications that enhance guest experience, streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Train hotel staff on the use of IT systems and provide ongoing technical support to staff and guests to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions that align with the hotel's financial goals and strategic plans.
- Lead and manage IT projects, including upgrades, new system implementations, and technology integrations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all IT systems and practices comply with industry standards, data protection regulations (like GDPR), and hotel-specific requirements.
- Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, generating regular reports to hotel management on IT operations, incidents, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in IT or related field
- Proven experience in hotel IT and strong knowledge with PMS, POS etc
- Expertise in data security, network infrastructure and cloud computing
- Fluent in English
