We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Marketing Data & Operations Team. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust data processing and analysis systems. You will work closely with the Marketing and Operations teams to build efficient data pipelines, ensure data quality and consistency, and implement automation to optimize data-driven marketing operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure adherence to company development standards and best practices, particularly regarding data security, sensitivity, and documentation. Your role in our future:
Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for marketing operations, ensuring reliable data flows.
Create industrialized data assets to support the marketing team in data-driven decision-making.
Ensure data integrity through the implementation of validation and cleansing processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance for efficiency and scalability.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data systems, processes, pipelines, and architectures.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
Work closely with IT data teams to ensure compliance with company standards, including security, sensitivity, and documentation practices.
Your profile:
3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a marketing or business-focused environment.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and their data models.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including the use of joins, CTEs, UDFs, stored procedures, and execution plan optimization for No SQL databases like Hive.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Perl and Java; Python is a plus.
Familiarity with command lines and scripting in both Windows and Linux environments.
Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
