As the Salesforce Developer, you will work with teams across Tricentis to support our Quote to Order lifecycle.
The Salesforce Developer will lead and work on projects inside our Salesforce instance and you will also serve as a technical & functional expert in CPQ and Quote-to-Bill processes. You will manage project work, enhancements, and fixes, from the request and requirements stage through build, test, and deployment. You will serve as a technical adviser for out-of-the-box Salesforce.com and it is highly desired you have knowledge of Salesforce CPQ features and functions. You will partner with the Go To Market team, including our Salesforce Administrators, as we look to deliver work in an Agile and iterative fashion.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders, team members, and subject matter experts to identify, design, develop, and deploy solutions according to business requirements
- Make recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make processes and workflows more efficient and automated
- Ensure operational stability and follow best practices for supported systems, processes & tools
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to support end users and operational team members
- Translate business requirements into best in class and scalable solutions
- Adhere to governance processes, including but not limited to development life cycles, change management, release planning and scheduling and testing and delivery
- Use of Flow as appropriate to build solutions
- Perform data analysis and corrections as needed
- Assist with installation and maintenance of integrated apps as needed
- Ensure integrity of data
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in the areas of Sales Cloud and the Quote to Cash process from business requirements to solutions as well as coordinating/leading solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across multi-dimensional teams.
- Salesforce.com experience with APEX and/or Visual Force.
- Knowledge and experience in understanding of GTM (Go-to-Market) plan and strategy and execute related processes and system changes with a plan.
- Track record of delivering successful systems implementations with high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ability to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally.
- Ability to analyze the business processes and business systems for inefficiencies and lead internal customers to success.
- Ability to lead and facilitate recommendations for solutions or improvements and reviewing solutions that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of developing integration solutions, from conception to launch and post-launch support.
- Experience supporting integrations with operational tools supporting post-sales initiatives
- Ability to build and manage work independently, perform thorough impact analysis, deploy from sandbox environments to production and recognize and mitigate risks
- Experience building solutions in Lightning Experience
- Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a knowledge of SOQL and SOSL, and usage of web technologies
- Ability to follow Agile best practices for Scrum and/or Kanban
Desired:
- Working with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) or other CPQ platform
- Certified Salesforce CPQ Admin or Specialist
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices and limitations and the ability to clearly communicate those to key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities such as perpetual and subscription-based licensing, amendments, extensions, co-terming, renewals and Evergreen contracts
- Experience with quote document generation and integration with Docu Sign
- Bachelor Degree
