You are a specialist in a process, workstream or area in Mondelēz International Digital Services, working to support impeccable service operations.
How you will contribute
You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

What you need to know about this position:
You will be supporting and executing payroll tax processes for NA region. Your focus will be:
Payroll Tax Expertise & Knowledge
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of North America payroll Tax processes and regulations to ensure accuracy & compliance, and stay abreast of changes required.
Subject Matter Expert-Payroll Operations
- Resolution of complex issues, providing guidance to junior members on standards, approaches and planning.
Payroll Processes
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of all weekly, bi-weekly and monthly taxes for both US and Canada.
- Provide support to all Payroll Reports and Reconciliation including but not limited to: Benefits, Union Dues, Stock Options, Record of Employment, Wage Statements, and Multiple Worksite Reporting.
- Assist in resolving tax payroll issues related expats, master data, reconciliations.
- Pull or create new reports to support payroll Tax inquiries, compliance, audit, or other areas as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Seeks ways to make the process and service simpler and more cost effective for the business
- Contributes to an environment that is passionate for simplification
Controls & Compliance
- Ensures that payroll tax processing is run in line with internal and external control requirements.
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years payroll experience and experience in Year End for USA & Canada
- Experience in a complex payroll environment
- Experience with outsourced payroll delivery including vendor management
- Experience with US & Canada payroll
- Experience with Fed, State and Local Taxes USA/ Province & Fed for Canada
- Experience in managing payroll audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP & payroll applications (Ultipro System)
