SQL Developer (T-SQL & OLTP) Remote We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with a focus on T-SQL and OLTP systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex database solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our transactional systems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient database structures and solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for OLTP systems.
Collaborate with developers and analysts to translate business requirements into database solutions.
Design relational databases, ensuring data normalization and referential integrity.
Improve existing database queries and reduce resource consumption for better performance.
Implement database tuning, indexing, and query optimization strategies.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
Ensure data integrity with appropriate constraints, triggers, and validations.
Design backup and disaster recovery strategies for OLTP databases.
Implement database security and compliance measures.
Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and best practices.
Main Stack & Required Skills:
T-SQL Development: Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
OLTP Systems Design: Proven experience with OLTP database design, ensuring transactional integrity and data normalization.
Query Optimization & Performance Tuning: Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
Database Architecture: Ability to design scalable relational database schemas.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Strong skills in identifying and resolving database performance issues.
Indexing & Partitioning: Hands-on experience with indexing strategies, partitioning, and other techniques to improve performance.
SQL Server: Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other relational database management systems (RDBMS) is a plus.
Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards.
