Production Sustaining Engineer - Medical Industry
Responsibilities
- Develop/ Support /encourage tools for production control, metric standardization. Establish corrective & preventive measures for KPIs improvements.
- Works with a sense of urgency that enables production schedules to be met while minimizing unnecessary costs related to downtime and labor and material variances; and without jeopardizing the health and safety of the general workforce and/or the quality and accuracy of production and without violating established work standards and ISO requirements.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Root cause Analysis, Preventive & Corrective actions, Propose and implement improvements plans.
- Lead interdisciplinary work force to achieve systemic solutions. Assure follow up actions.
- Provide information to production supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates to adjust for changes in manufacturing conditions, including demand.
- Responsible for metrics tracking and performance related to the manufacturing and ensure that all setups are designed and ready for production and that all manufacturing processes are functioning and available for production according to the schedule.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date reporting about KPI’s related to production areas, Ensuring compliance with budgets and plans.
- Set clear expectations and objectives for each employee. Create alignment with the company’s guiding principles, policy deployment process, annual operating plan, and department objectives.
- Provide frequent, clear, and objective feedback regarding direct reports’ job performance and behavior, including formally documented feedback in the company’s performance management system.
- Participates in lean sigma and other Kaizen events to improve the methods of manufacturing, workflow, and quality of production.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the HSE, Environmental and Energy Management Systems by developing, leading and promoting a culture which supports the intended outcomes of the management systems. Directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of these management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- At least 3 year of experience in Medical Industry.
- Must have availability to travel as required.
- Must have B2+ English level.
- Demonstrate leadership ability.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute projects/ task while balancing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
- Proficiency in the use of PC and programs, particularly Project, Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Knowledge in a metric driven culture specific experience in LEAN principles (Plus).
