Organization & Role

The Teradyne Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Software Engineering Manager to lead teams in the development of products within the Semiconductor Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and a challenging multi-site development environment. This individual will report directly to the Software Development Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

Leadership and strong desire and concern to lead and motivate others, set goals, communicate vision and direction, and create a shared understanding
Build, organize, and lead both functional and project teams
Lead project teams through the entire development lifecycle
Drive organizational and team improvements from concept phase to implementation
Communicate plans, status, and challenges to all stakeholders including senior management

Basic Qualifications & Skills

Strong leadership skills
Track record for managing high-performance, multi-site teams
Knowledge of standard development processes and lifecycles
Ability to manage tradeoffs with regards to cost, cycle time, productivity, and predictability
Strong technical knowledge in relevant areas
Knowledge of standard project management concepts
Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Commitment to excellence, efficiency, and product quality
