WHAT YOU'LL DO

You are inspirational and conceptual, but above all dedicated to the visual craft of design.
As a Design Manager in the Design Studios team, you will be a creative thought- leader with an
excellent design background who will lead, guide, mentor, and motivate a team of designers in
a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

You will work with our consulting teams, lead, and oversee design projects end-to-end by
executing complex and ambiguous briefs with minimal direction by translating business
language and processes into creative ideas, concepts, and engaging stories to achieve their
vision and to leverage storytelling in compliance with BCG standards.

You’ll lead and develop creative briefs that capture the business challenge, build timelines,
ensure all deadlines are met, communicate with clients, and have the ability to conceptualize
and ideate creative solutions, support all design decisions with creative, strategic and/or
business reasoning, present creative concepts and discuss ideas to internal clients. Leading and
coordinating on multiple creative projects at one time, you’ll drive the execution of creative
projects ensuring clients are satisfied with the quality of final result. You will provide leadership
and inculcate innovative thinking to the Design team and establish rich and engaging
partnerships with BCG Consulting teams. As a Design Manager you will be guiding Designers
in the team from associate to senior level, providing guidance, direction, training, and support
throughout their career development.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Working in partnership with key stakeholders to drive the execution of design projects
by leading the Design team.

Embracing a versatile, integrated, and collaborative multidisciplinary approach to

design challenges, leading teams to with different design specializations and skills to
produce innovative and effective design solutions.

Providing creative direction to deliver vision on strategy, on brand, and on brief.
Leading creative review of design work to ensure quality and excellence.
Establish visual tone and messaging that will effectively communicate with the target

audience to fulfil the project goals.

Act as the most senior and hands-on creative representative at a project level as it

relates to Visual Design and UX/UI.

Delivering results to drive multi-vertical projects, from brief to final deliverables, whilst

maintaining a deep knowledge of other creative verticals like Video, Digital, Content
and Creative Strategy.

Managing the production and process of all case- and proposal work assets together

with Project Manager and Creative Strategist for large scale projects

Leading, managing and overseeing multiple creative projects at one time, including

building ad-hoc teams, ensuring all deadlines are met, providing guidance, and
ensuring clients are satisfied with the quality of result and troubleshooting any issues
that may arise during the project’s duration, effectively communicating under stressful
circumstances.

Making conceptual decisions, creating layouts, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate

designs/experiences/ ideas to members team and stakeholders.

Providing & receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and

high satisfaction levels between the team and consultants, under stressful
circumstances

Leading, guiding, mentoring & motivating a creative team of Designers (associate to

senior designers), providing innovative thinking to the design team, developing
training concepts and implementing trainings.

Leading & driving business pitches and present, creative concepts, mock-ups and new.

and innovative ideas to internal and external clients.

Thinking and coming up with new service solutions that extend the current Design

Studios offering and help win new projects.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's Degree in Design/Graphic Design/Fine Arts or related field (or equivalent

job education)

You have 6-8 years of experience in a Professional services environment/ Design startups/

Design Agencies.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design,

Acrobat Pro etc.) as well as industry standard prototyping tools, such as Figma, Adobe
XD, In Vision, etc. MS Office (interactive Power Point). An understanding of HTML5 and
CSS would be helpful.

Excellent knowledge of visual design, visual theory (i.e. composition, color theory,

typography, etc.), a sharp eye for layout design and high affinity to latest design trends
and new media (Augmented/Virtual Reality, Social Media etc.) and a mastery in freehand
illustrations and/or digital drawings

Experience with AR/VR wearables and/or Io T devices is a plus.
Experience with 3D and motion design is a plus
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your creative thinking and design aesthetics.
