Role Responsibilities
As Associate, Settlement Operations, you will be responsible to performs settlement operation functions such cash reconciliations and customer inquiries tasks, as valid and timely refund, ensure proper settlement transactions, support customers in issues resolution activities, ensure outstanding customer service quality level, maintain valid supporting documents for all transactions, provide research, root cause and recommendations to address gaps in delivering incumbent duties.
The position supports Cash Retail, APN Settlement & Convenience Pay products by delivering daily Sub-ledger transactions reconciliation, settlement, exceptions, and discrepancies remediation functions in operational areas.
You need to comply with Western Union Internal policies and applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Role Requirements
High School Diploma
1-2 years accounting clerical experience or equivalent
Experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or billing
Knowledge of MS Office Tools
High- sense of urgency, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills
Time management
Settlement knowledge is a plus
