Job Title: Routing & Dispatch Specialist PRIOR DISPATCH and ROUTING EXPERIENCE and a BACHELOR's DEGREE is a MUST! This is primarily an operations role that requires high degree of engagement, timely plans, updates, and responses. This role may involve some dev/QA testing work. 4 key aspects to this role: 1. Routing of Orders: this means generating effective routes, route plan for the day, schedules for drivers, ensuring routes pass the smell test, making manual adjustments where needed 2. On the Road Support / Dispatch: auditing on the road performance and compliance of delivery drivers, communication with clients through phone calls, texts, and whatsapp, providing feedback to drivers, making adjustments as needed, tracking all deliveries. 3. Reporting and Analytics: tracking, compiling, pulling, developing reports to manage driver performance, optimizing route efficiency, gathering key insights, developing KPIs etc. 4. Compliance: ensure drivers are set up with all systems, HIPAA training and compliance, W9s on file, and any other requirements. Responsibilities:
Importing Client Manifests: Accurately import and organize client manifests into the delivery system, ensuring all relevant details and instructions are correctly inputted.
Route Order Management: Efficiently organize and optimize routing orders based on client manifests, considering various factors such as delivery locations, time constraints, and logistical efficiency.
Route Publication and Management: Publish finalized routes in the delivery system and conduct meticulous reviews ("smell test") to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with specified guidelines.
Monitoring and Notifications: Continuously monitor the functionality of notifications sent to the delivery driver pool, ensuring seamless communication and timely updates on routes and orders.
Acceptance Rate Monitoring: Track and analyze the acceptance rates of assigned routes by delivery drivers, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve acceptance rates.
Issue Identification and Escalation: Proactively identify potential issues within the delivery process and promptly escalate them to relevant leadership, collaborating on effective resolution strategies.
Analytics and Scenario Planning: Utilize analytics and scenario planning techniques to conduct in-depth analysis of route efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for enhanced delivery performance over time.
Stop Management: Manage all stops along delivery routes, including adding, removing, rescheduling, and updating status, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in the delivery system.
Client & Driver Support and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery driver support on the road, addressing queries, providing guidance, and resolving issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Continuous Improvement: Implement measures to enhance route efficiency, incorporating feedback from drivers and utilizing data insights to optimize delivery processes.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of route changes, driver interactions, and performance metrics. Generate regular reports to highlight key performance indicators and suggest improvements.
Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, customer service, and technology, to ensure alignment and optimize delivery operations.
Note: This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong communication skills to support and optimize the delivery process while being responsive to driver needs on the road. Job Type: Full-time Education:
