Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant for an Immigration Law Firm

The Immigration Professor is a growing immigration law based in Los Angeles that is celebrating its 30th year of operations this November. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with excellent service which is documented with our many 5-star ratings on Yelp. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic office where you can apply your accounting skills and contribute to the financial success of our firm.
This is a full-time and fully-remote position. The hours for the position are 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time.
Please note: a minimum of 2 years Quickbooks experience is mandatory. Please indicate your experience with Quickbooks on your resume or in your response. Applicants that do not include this will not be considered.
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to provide support in the following areas:

Record financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain record keeping
Prepare filing financial documents
Process accounts payables and accounts receivables
Invoice clients for filing and legal fees and follow up on collections via Zelle, Venmo and My Case
Reconciling company bank account
Process payroll and track payroll data
Assist in preparing tax payments

Required and Desired Experience:

Progressive experience in a bookkeeping and finance role: 2 years required
Quickbooks: 2 years mandatory
Knowledge of financial concepts, debits, credits, and budgeting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Experience with software programs My Case and Lawmatics is highly desirable. May be willing to train the right candidate.
