Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.
- Maintain or oversee the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
- Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
- Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepares and consolidates financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
- Design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.
- Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures and internal controls.
- May be responsible for technical support and accounting of M&A activities.
- Oversee technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, international business or related
- 2 or years of experience in a customer-facing, financial, sales support or analytic roles
- Fluent in English level
- Intermediate to Advanced user of MS Excel and Business Objects or equivalent reporting software
- Proficient in reviewing and understanding legal terms and conditions
- Ability to evaluate and enhance complex procedures.
- Communicating effectively with a global team utilizing Zoom and MS Teams.
- Great communication skills.
- Strong logic and analysis skills.
- Effective collaboration with professionals in various disciplines.
Knowledge of Vistex rebate software (SAP), knowledge in SAP, general ability to work in or learn Vistex, Excel, Power Point, and Business Objects, experience translating large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies is a plus.
