Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring our high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained. You will work closely with our design, pattern-making, and quality control teams to ensure that all collections are delivered on time and to specification. This role is based in Faro, Portugal, and requires relocation.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring our high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained. You will work closely with our design, pattern-making, and quality control teams to ensure that all collections are delivered on time and to specification. This role is based in Faro, Portugal, and requires relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of production, from planning and scheduling to quality control and final delivery.
- Manage production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of collections.
- Ensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilisation.
- Supervise a team of production staff and collaborate closely with designers and pattern makers.
- Maintain and improve production processes to meet high standards of quality.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production facility.
- Manage production budgets, cost control, and reporting.
- Provide leadership and training to the production team.
- Act as the main point of contact for all production-related issues and challenges.
- Several years of experience in a production management role within the clothing or fashion manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, fabrics, and techniques.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus but not required).
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with sourcing, production planning, and quality control.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to relocate to South Portugal (Faro area).
