About Us:
A Viva Engage client is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist that will play a crucial role in shaping our growing company by ensuring that our team members are well-supported and engaged from day one. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining essential HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and managing international team contracts.
Responsibilities

Manage our relationship with our Global People Platform vendor and ensure compliance with international employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation, including employee contracts, company org chart, and management of key company platforms.
Collaborate with the Leadership team on the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and participating in interviews as needed.
Responsible for creating a seamless experience for team members from initial candidacy through their last day of employment
Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Tracking HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire, employee satisfaction) and reporting these metrics to leadership to guide decision-making.
Drive team culture initiatives, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and positive work environment that aligns with our core values.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, generalist roles, or related fields.
A scrappy self-starter with an ownership mindset and a keen interest in creating a positive workplace culture.
A global mindset with a relentless passion for inclusion and cultural diversity.
Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities.
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
