Analista Contable Bilingüe - Medellín

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst in Medellín. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company's overall financial operations.
Skills/Experience required:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Advanced English Level: B2 or higher.
2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role using accounting software (Sage, SAP, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Plus: familiarity with tax filing.

Principal Duties:

Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. Responsible for performing collections activities via email, following up with clients on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution of accounts.
Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Excel Reporting: Create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to track financial data, perform analysis, and generate reports for management.
Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
Assist with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing requested financial information and documentation.
General Support: Assist the accounting team with various tasks, including month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing journal entries, and other administrative duties as needed.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
