Winter Seasonal - Equipment Operator
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Duties
- Operate various types of equipment to remove snow from parking lots and residential driveways
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Assist in the transportation of equipment to and from job sites as needed.
Skills
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment and farm tractors is considered an asset, training will be provided
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Valid drivers license required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
This job is an on-call seasonal position with the potential for full-time summer employment.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $25.00 per hour
