Temporary aide - Daycare FSCD Support worker
Job Overview
We are seeking a temporary substitute as an FSCD aide in a daycare setting. The usual aide is going on holidays and we need a substitute from Oct 17-Oct 24, 2024. The wage is $20 per hour for 5 hours a day with an unpaid half hour lunch break. The shift is 8:00am-1:30pm.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated FSCD aide to join our team for this temporary position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children who have behaviour challenges.

- Engage throughout the daily daycare routine.
- Create a positive classroom environment.
- Supervise during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Address any behavioral issues in a constructive manner while promoting positive behavior.
- Prior experience with children exhibiting behaviour challenges is an asset.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
