Job Information
The Supervisor, Financial Operations is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day financial operations of the Stanton Territorial Hospital Region of the NTHSSA and for providing supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Financial Operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with GNWT legislation, regulations, policies and NTHSSA procedures. The successful applicant will also performs analysis and reconciliations that require a thorough knowledge of both accounting principles and the GNWT's System for Accountability and Management (SAM).
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of a relevant University Degree combined with 3 years of progressive experience, preferably in public service (one year of the experience must be at a senior officer level) and one year of supervisory experience). Equivalent combinations of educational qualifications and experience will be considered on individual basis.
