As a Special Projects & Events Coordinator, your primary responsibility is planning, organizing, and coordinating special projects and events. You will work closely with stakeholders, teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects and events. The S.P & E.C must comply with established policies and procedures that support municipal operations. Skills: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: Proven experience in planning and coordinating special projects and events, from concept to execution Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate operational requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Problem solving abilities Understanding of the cultural and political dynamics of the North Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License Candidates with equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience will also be taken into consideration.
