Shipper Receiver
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position Shipper Receiver for our Charlottetown location. The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual willing to work as part of a team providing excellent customer service. This entry level position offers a great opportunity for a professional willing to learn about our industry and be trained for a future progression into the parts sales team.

- High School or Trade Certification education required
- Shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Forklift license considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Computer skills. Knowledge of MS Office suite, ADP/CDK or other shop software considered an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Being able to multi-task and follow deadlines for ship outs to the customers.
- Parts picking in the warehouse and coordinating ship outs
- Preparing packages for delivery and filling out shipping labels
- Receive, move, and arrange materials in the warehouse
- Check shipped materials for damage and process defective product
- Source and track stock and special-order items
- Support the warehouse team on general daily tasks
- Communicate with Service team on the arrival of parts
- Inventory management
- Participate in annual or cyclical inventory counts
- Contribute and participate in all 5S initiatives
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, type and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system
Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada's largest heavy-duty truck dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We are an authorized sales, service, parts and warranty dealership for premium products Freightliner and Western Star Trucks. In addition, we service most makes and models for class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RVs. We focus on exceeding customer requirements through continuously developing our team and building technical capabilities.
