As a Service Writer you will be responsible for the day to day Customer Satisfaction & Support, Invoicing & Payments, Inventory Control, Maintaining Industry Knowledge, and Data Entry & Systems. Major accountabilities include:
Customer Satisfaction & Support

• Answer calls, and respond to client inquiries
• Maintain exceptional customer service and provide updates to clients as required
• Schedule service, and coordinate repairs for quick turnaround

Invoicing & Payments:

• Create invoices & work orders
• Review and identifies any discrepancies in invoices
• Ensure payment collected for services
• Allocate invoices to AP as required

Inventory Control & Maintenance:

• Order new parts & equipment or return to vendor as required
• Maintain accurate inventory of assets, and parts
• Daily entry of parts ordering and cataloging in systems

Industry Knowledge:

• Ensure up to date bulletins are posted
• Ability to identify customer requests, and build work orders to repair issue
• Understand Heavy Duty repair terminology

Data entry & Systems Administration:

• Gather and maintain customer/account information
• Enter data in appropriate systems as required
• Maintain accurate internal systems

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Service Advisor/Service Writer
• Knowledge of the Transportation, Towing, or Automotive industry an asset
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Experience with data entry, asset information management, and inventory control
• Proven experience working with a large, multi-disciplined team
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and fulfilling the day to day, and long term departmental goals
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
