With this role, you will support various functions within our organization and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Key Qualifications:
Technical skills– you have previous experience with mechanical, installation and/or repair work. Experience with home medical/healthcare equipment and/or lifting and accessibility devices would be considered an asset but is not required
Tools - you have a good knowledge of tools and their uses
Analytical skills– you are comfortable with trouble-shooting and able to work independently to address varied repair and maintenance needs
Communication skills– good verbal and written communication to enable efficient interaction both with colleagues and customers
Physical Requirements - able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and assist in moving heavy items
Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record check are required
What you will do:
Assist in installation, service and repair of elevating solutions including stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, overhead tracking and vehicle lifts
Delivering, setting up and installing equipment within client’s home and/or facility
Assessing and troubleshooting client equipment issues
Repairing manual and power mobility devices both on-site and in-store
Building of wheelchair components based on configuration
Assist in general warehouse duties; shipping/receiving, organization, cleaning
