As a SERVICE EXPEDITOR for Go Powersports Limited, you will be responsible for directly supporting our Service Technicians to ensure superior customer service and efficient service management. Service Expeditor Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Staging and Preparation:
Identify any open service bays that may be ready for the next unit to be staged
Request approval of technicians to stage unit to ensure the bay is not reserved for other purposes
Reference service schedule to identify next major unit to be worked on by a technicians
Review repair order to identify extent of jobs that have been requested by customer
Stage any parts and all parts at service bay for technician
Stage repair order and completed courtesy inspection at the service bay for technician
Stage units outside of the shop for technicians test drive
Courtesy Inspections:
Perform courtesy inspection on all major units check into service
Note any irregularities found before technician begins work
Quality Control:
Review repair orders to verify completion of requested jobs
Complete Quality Control check on all completed major units
Note status of each Quality check category on invoice notes including initials, date, and time of QC Check
Unit Appearance:
Clean each completed unit after the technician has completed repair ensuring all units leave cleaner than they arrived.
Pay special attention to all areas that a customer will see while operating the unit
Other:
Clean the service bay, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day by removing all packaging, replacing parts in both the shop area and outside the bay to maintain Go Powersports standard.
Return customer units to service for pick up when ready.
Fulfill training as required
Other duties as assigned
Service Expeditor Requirements:
We are willing to train the right candidate. Powersports Enthusiasts & Experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset
Ability to be a team-player, you contribute towards an amicable and fun team atmosphere
Ability to provide best in class customer service to internal and external sources
Must have excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Must be a flexible multi-tasker that works well in a high volume environment with tight deadlines
This position requires moderate computer proficiency
You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to provide a Driver’s Abstract
About Us Go Powersports Limited is a perennial top-ten BRP dealer in Canada and has four times been recognised as BRP’s district dealer of the year. In 2021 we were BRP’s National Off-Road Dealer of the Year for Canada. We are the only authorized dealer in Western Nova Scotia for BRP and CFMoto.
