Position Responsibilities Operational Data Management including:
Establish and manage data collection systems for funded and other partner programs, to meet operational and community planning needs
Ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial and other reporting requirements for the department and funded service providers
Ensure compliance with privacy legislation including the FOIP Act
Troubleshoot service provider and partner data issues
Reporting and Evaluation including:
Collect, assess and interpret primary operational data and secondary research data
Lead research and evaluation projects from scope definition to completion, and provide recommendations
Lead community consultations
Use evidence to advise on relevant topics and considerations related to system planning, housing and homelessness
Advisory Support and Community Relations:
Contribute to ongoing improvement of departmental and community processes using an evaluation-based mindset
Contribute to grant applications; support the development of request for proposal processes
Participate in local, provincial and national community of practice and advisory groups that inform work on housing and homelessness; and relationship building
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Social program evaluation training
3 years of experience in social program evaluation
Database management experience
Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and reporting
Understanding of FOIP legislation and experience working with sensitive personal information
Experience writing and presenting reports to internal and external stakeholders
Hours The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor. Compensation Starting Salary $35.40 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement (Band D, Entry Step).
