Job Title: Purchaser – Wholesale Operations

We are a small wholesale company specializing in plumbing and water treatment. Our mission is to provide quality products at competitive prices, and we are looking for a Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the wholesale market and procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management: Maintain established relationships and strong ties with current vendors.
• Procurement: Manage purchasing of inventory items based on business needs, trends, and demand.
• Cost Analysis: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract agreements to achieve the best value for the company.
• Order Management: Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate delivery schedules and quantities.
• Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels, avoid overstocking, and minimize shortages.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in inventory management.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of water treatment or plumbing
