Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our growing team at Transcona Roofing! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the construction industry.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the production team throughout the life-cycle of projects, assisting with all aspects of documentation and administration. Secondary support is essential for assistance with Accounting tasks and training, as required. Major Job Areas and Responsibilities: Project Support
Project Administration: Create folders and ensure all information is gathered for each project and maintain project-related records, including contracts, shop drawings and change orders.
Project Coordination: Work alongside Project Manager and project team in monitoring upcoming project tasks. Coordinate with project managers on project requirements through Asana software. Work with Accounting to capture unposted costs in assistance with project profit & loss meetings.
Project Submittals: Work in collaboration with Project Managers to gather and provide submittals required for each project to General Contractors.
Project Purchasing: Determine materials required for each project; order the materials and coordinate deliveries directly to the work site. Verify delivery and receipt of materials against purchase orders to determine discrepancies.
Project Invoicing: Prepare the Statutory Declaration monthly for each project to be provided to the General Contractor for proof of payment to suppliers. Send out invoicing and related scheduling.
Payroll: Review payroll timecards daily and make any necessary edits to be approved by Project Managers. Audit timecards against GPS to ensure accuracy and update project budget templates in assistance to profit & loss meetings.
Project Closeout: Gather and prepare the required/appropriate warranty for each project and conduct a monthly assessment to ensure the completion of warranties. Document warranty information.
Insurance Certificates: Coordinating accuracy and validity of all insurance certificates.
Inventory: Enter usage/returns for production materials, perform monthly inventory counts and assist with
year end inventory audits. Secondary Support

- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction project processes is a plus.
- Experience using project management software such as Bluebeam is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
