Parts Manager - Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Summerside
NOW HIRING: Parts Manager LOCATION: Centennial Auto Sport & Tire, Summerside, PEI HOURS: Full time, 40-45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, rotation of Saturday mornings WAGES: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (salary + incentives) + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.
THE PERFECT FIT: We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, outgoing, customer service-oriented parts guru to join our Centennial Auto Sport & Tire team in Summerside. You will possess strong organizational skills, time management skills and thrive in a fast paced environment.
APPLICABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a parts department role, ideally as an Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager is considered a strong asset
Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills
Strong work ethic and team mindset
Proven ability to work in and improve a process-driven environment.
Knowledge of parts inventory systems and procedures.
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers in person or by phone
Manage parts inventory
Order, receive, maintain, and invoice all parts inventory accurately
Create processes and procedures for maintaining inventory levels, including counts, orders and returns.
Analyze departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed for maximum effectiveness.
Coordinates a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork.
Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the retail sales and service department.
