Primary Job Functions:
- File, grind, and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools to ensure smooth and even surfaces for painting.
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, protecting non-painted areas from overspray.
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors accurately to achieve a seamless finish.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brushes or spray guns, achieving high-quality results in both refinishing and cosmetic repair.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability in diagnostics, colour matching, and maintaining high-quality finishes.
- BC Red Seal Paint Technician ticket.
- Must have own tools.
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
- Hiring temporary foreign workers with open work permits – NOC 7322.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Class 1,3 or 5 driver's license or Driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement.
