Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. The Server will be responsible for taking food and drink orders from customers and ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and drink orders
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Ensure customer satisfaction by attending to their needs promptly
- Process payments and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and assist with basic food preparation tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic math for order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other servers
- Proficiency in cashiering duties
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $14.00-$17.59 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
