Marine Technician

WHOLESALE TRAILERS & MARINE is a fast paced trailer & marine dealer. A marine technician certificate and experience with boats is a definite asset, but not necessarily required. First and foremost we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and positive attitude.
Marine Techs duties include but are not limited to:
  • Doing pre-delivery inspections on boats before they are delivered to customers
  • Installing outboard motors on boats
  • Following manufacturer guides to repair motors
  • Installing boat upgrades such as trolling motors, fish finders, radio's, radar & other electronics.
  • Moving boats in and out of our shop with a forklift (willingness to learn how to drive a forklift or experience is an asset)
  • Putting boats together as they arrive from the manufacturers (installing windshields etc)
  • Helping to unload boats off of trucks as they arrive from manufacturers
  • Cutting boats out of shrink-wrap without damaging the boats
  • Various shop duties as required

This position is Monday to Friday with plenty of overtime available in the summer months.
