Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on old machinery, including punch presses and roll form machines.
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic lines and components to ensure proper function and prevent leaks or failures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend machinery life.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and machinery conditions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
- Proven experience working with industrial machinery, particularly punch presses, roll form machines, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and work around heavy machinery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a metal manufacturing environment is an asset.
