Woodstock Public House is located on the historic Woodstock property in Paradise. Woodstock's legacy was built on providing people high quality Newfoundland fare for nearly 100 years. Steak and seafood are our main offerings, however, since becoming the Public House, we are also expanding in to serving some more casual pub fare - made with the same care and attention as our big sellers.
Woodstock Public House is looking for our next kitchen team member to jump on board. We're accepting resumes with all levels of experience. It is a great experience to learn and grow as a cook, regardless of skill level. We take pride in making our Newfoundland fare from scratch with care.
Responsibilities will vary based on the individual's experience/skillset. At Woodstock, we have a variety of services we offer - from "a la carte" dining service to catering style events for up to 200 people.
Requirements for this job:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the restaurant industry
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Full time availability (Wednesday - Sunday)
• Reliable transportation to work.

Assets:

• Experience with local seafood and game
• First Aid and Food Safety Certifications
• Experience baking breads and desserts
• Experience in banquet style cooking (50+ people)
• Experience in a steak house

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
