Jr. Marketing Specialist Job Description Position Summary
As a junior marketing specialist, you will act as the liaison between the marketing department and the dealerships in our group ensuring any marketing activation's needed are completed and any support required is given.
Responsibilities
Meet with Sales & Service Managers weekly. Schedule these meetings in advance so all involved can ensure they’re present. At these meetings, you review what’s happening and in place for media & events, as well as, what needs to be accomplished.
Personally, visit dealerships at least 1x/week to become totally familiar with staff, facility and their respective sales & service marketing needs. Know your brands and your stores.
Monitor content on website(s), including manufacturer websites
Write /solicit/source content regularly (Including carousels, written content etc.)
Monthly inventory specials on sites (Working with Sales Managers to ensure this is done)
Ensure booked media requirements are fulfilled
Events – plan/execute all aspects with the aid of Sales Managers & marketing team - Including but not limited to, vehicle launch, dealership grand opening, track experience and any other promotional event required.
Pull/build lists from CRM
Send out e-blasts
Your responsibility to know each system the store uses
Be aware of/implement co-op advertising for each brand
Open & close projects for your store(s) of responsibility
Research, develop and implement social media tools and strategies that are consistent with our brands, and our strategic and business objectives.
Monitor and regularly report on social media key performance indicators and metrics
Manage digital “conversations” with current and prospective customers by monitoring and responding to social media comments and feedback.
Integrate social media messaging with marketing, sales and recruiting campaigns.
Contribute to integrated marketing and sales projects.
Maintain cutting-edge awareness of industry trends and share with management as well as be aware of best practices.
