Tetrad is currently seeking multiple qualified Journeyperson and third year Apprentice Insulators to work on a project in Kitimat, British Columbia.
Job Type: Full time
Rotation: 14 and 7 days
Hours : 10 hours / day, with possibility for overtime
Expected hours of work: 70 hours per week
Location: Kitimat, British Columbia

Role Responsibilities:

• Install insulation materials
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
• Apply insulation to walls, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces using various techniques
• Seal gaps and cracks with caulk or other sealants to ensure proper insulation
• Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials as required
• Use hand tools such as saws, knives, and tape measures to complete insulation installations
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Read and correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and building codes
• Coordinate insulation work with other trades on the job site
• Comply with all safety regulations of the construction industry
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with quality and production standards required by Tetrad

Role Requirements:

• Valid CSTS certification
• Valid CSO certification
• Valid WHMIS certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
• Valid Journeyman ticket or verification of hours worked
• Adequate rain gear
