The Housekeeping and Support Staff role is key in the success of product delivery to guests. This role requires a keen attention to detail and energy to shift between work focuses throughout the day. This role requires mostly indoor housekeeping, but the ability to do light work outdoors and participate in the guest experience as a guide from time to time. We expect that Housekeeping and Support staff be self-starters who take personal initiatives to make the lodge a better place to live and visit.
Duties will be focused around the site, but opportunity to participate in activities outside the site will be offered at the Manager's discretion when possible.
Please note that this is a general job description that is slightly different in summer/fall than winter/spring. Some responsibilities may not be applicable to every season.
Working in an off-grid community environment requires flexibility, communication and the expectation that no day is the same. There are job requirements that may not be listed here. Days and work can be challenging and sometimes unexpected in this off-grid environment, and are not always regular hours. No day is the same, but you have the opportunity to work in one of the most magical locations on earth.
