Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team at Bennys Breakfast Bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that the dining experience begins on a positive note. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours, communicating wait times effectively to guests.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or inquiries as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and enhancing their dining experience.
• Knowledge of food service protocols and standards is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of English language required.
