Hiring- Grain Administrator
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in inbound and outbound logistics of raw materials and finished product shipments.
- Entry of grain movements into the business system, rail billing and/or shipment log as required.
- Prepare export documentation as required for some outbound shipments.
- Submit product samples to appropriate laboratories, as required.
- Prepare bag labels for packaged shipments.
- Assist HR with employee information.
- Share reception and general office duties.
- Interact and communicate effectively with logistics, carriers and grain growers to ensure a smooth flow of shipments.
- Participate in Food Safety Team meetings.
- Opportunity to actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
- 3 to 5 years of data entry experience
- Working Knowledge of the grain industry would be considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in HACCP and/or GFSI certifie
- Ability to meet changing priorities in a fast-paced environment , multi-task and meet deadlines
- Post-secondary education or related certificate program
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, external suppliers, and customers in a professional, objective manner.
