Assist in inbound and outbound logistics of raw materials and finished product shipments.
Entry of grain movements into the business system, rail billing and/or shipment log as required.
Prepare export documentation as required for some outbound shipments.
Submit product samples to appropriate laboratories, as required.
Prepare bag labels for packaged shipments.
Assist HR with employee information.
Share reception and general office duties.
Interact and communicate effectively with logistics, carriers and grain growers to ensure a smooth flow of shipments.
Participate in Food Safety Team meetings.
Opportunity to actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
Key qualifications would include
3 to 5 years of data entry experience
Working Knowledge of the grain industry would be considered an asset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience in HACCP and/or GFSI certified
Ability to meet changing priorities in a fast-paced environment , multi-task and meet deadlines
Post-secondary education or related certificate program
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, external suppliers, and customers in a professional, objective manner.
