Universal Staffing is currently seeking a casual general labourer in PEI for our client. Can be long hours, depending on the job. This position is an on-call position.
Duties include, but not limited to:

• Lifting heavy equipment, such as industrial and commercial food equipment (dishwashers, fridge, stoves, etc.)
• Duties will include assisting in the assembly of equipment and break down of pallets when receiving equipment
• Assist the project coordinator and technicians in installation, as needed
• Must be safety conscious and use safe lifting practices
• This position requires a criminal record search

Pay Rate:
· $25/hour
· Meals covered and mileage reimbursement available (if applicable)
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Ability to life 50lbs or more on a consistent basis (with assistance)
· Reliable transportation (this is a must as the job site will vary as contracts change)
· Previous general labour experience an asset
· Good English communication skills
NOTE: This is a physically demanding role and can be long hours.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25.00/hour
Expected Hours: On call shifts, will have full day of work when called in
