General Laborer – Mc Cain Farms


Mc Cain Farms, a division of Mc Cain Produce Inc., is looking for Temporary General Laborers in multiple locations in Carleton County, NB location to assist with labor and harvesting duties.


DUTIES:


Follow all safety requirements
Material handling of 25-50lbs.
Work in inclement weather
Removal of rocks and debris from loads of potatoes.
Daily clean up
Standing in one place for long periods of time, or
Walking distances daily
Trouble shoot and assist with maintenance of equipment as required.
Relay information to other Team members
Working in a fast-paced team environment
Participate in Team meetings, as required.
All additional duties as they become assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate ‘safety first’ on a continual basis.
Ability to work well with supervision and other employees
Team player with excellent attendance
Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
Willing to work weekends and long hours.
Must be self-motivated
Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision.


High School students aged 16 and above may be considered for outside school hours


Wage is $17.50/hr
