Responsibilities
Prepare and cook various food items, primarily focusing on frying techniques.
Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality.
Assist with meal preparation tasks as needed, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Help maintain inventory levels of cooking supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and equipment used in the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
